You’ll begin with a check-up appointment with our private Ipswich dentists, priced at £60 for new patients and including your x-rays. During this visit, we’ll assess your teeth and outline your best available options, highlighting the appropriate crowns for your case. Depending on the type of crown we recommend, we can either fit it the same day or take your impressions, send them to the lab, and invite you back in a few weeks for placement. At most, the entire process can take 2-3 weeks.
When fitting the crown, we will need to prepare, file, and reshape your affected tooth to create space for the crown to sit on top. A temporary restoration is placed during this time to relieve pain, protect the underlying tooth, and restore your comfort while we wait for your permanent crown to be made. Your new crown will be crafted to blend in with your other teeth.
