ABOUT THIS TREATMENT

At Quest Dental Care, we believe in promoting good oral hygiene from an early age. Our expert team can help educate children on the basics of good oral hygiene whilst introducing them in a friendly way to a dental environment.

From experience, we’ve seen that the earlier younger patients are introduced to the dentist, the better. We recommend parents bringing their children in to the practice after their first birthday, allowing them to build trust with one of our friendly clinicians, whilst giving parents the opportunity to ask questions and get advice about their children’s oral health.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS TREATMENT

Do children need regular check-ups?

As with adults, we recommend regular six monthly visits. The dentist can identify any potential problems such as bottle carries, frenum issues and give tips on mouth cleaning, teething and finger-sucking habits.

Do you offer orthodontic treatment for teenagers?

We can conduct an orthodontic assessment when your child turns seven. However, braces are usually recommended, if needed, when a child becomes a teenager.
