At Quest Dental, we offer our patients the option to spread the cost of their missing teeth treatment through dental finance, with interest-free payments for up to 12 months or longer terms up to 60 months at 9.9% APR. This means our patients can pay as little as £12.47 per month for a dental bridge (Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal) over four years, or £49.91 per month with 0% finance over a year.
Dental bridge treatment is led by Dr Faizan Umar (GDC 290978), who has extensive training and experience in restorative dentistry and the treatment of missing teeth.
As a member of the Ipswich dental team for the past five years, he’s successfully fitted hundreds of bridges, contributing to hundreds of our five-star reviews.
Why replace missing teeth with Quest?
If you’re looking for the best option to replace missing teeth for your case, it’s best to book a missing teeth consultation at our dental practice in Ipswich. We’ll explore all of your available options, including partial dentures and dental implants. For many people, dental implants offer the best stability, durability and aesthetics. Explore if they’ll work for you.
A dental bridge is a straightforward tooth-replacement treatment. No surgery is required, and it is a faster, more affordable option than dental implants.
With proper care, dental bridges can last 5 to 15 years. The material used can also be a factor, so don’t hesitate to ask your dentist about the types of bridges available.
Dental bridges are recommended for patients with missing teeth in a row or with broken or decayed adjacent teeth.
You’ll begin with a consultation to assess your suitability for a dental bridge. Your dentist will discuss the treatment options and alternatives and answer any questions you may have. The treatment itself is relatively straightforward and usually requires two appointments.
In your first appointment, the adjacent teeth are prepared, and an impression is taken for the bridge. This is performed under local anaesthesia, as drilling is required. A temporary bridge can be fitted whilst you wait for your next appointment. In your second and final appointment (usually a week later), your bridge is fitted.
Composite bonding is a minimally invasive, sometimes prep-free procedure that does not require removing any tooth surface or structure. The resin is hand-sculpted onto the tooth, enhancing its size and shape without causing damage.
Composite bonding typically lasts 5-7 years; in some cases, it can last up to 10 years with proper aftercare and maintenance. Composite bonding will require periodic refreshing, renewing, and repolishing because the material can stain or chip easily. Two dental visits per year to the dentist and hygienist are recommended to maintain fresh breath.

Being this my first time w/ Quest Dental Care Ipswich for a dental cleaning, I was feeling nervous and slightly anxious regarding pain and discomfort, but the staff made me feel at ease and through the session I was always waiting for the moment that would raise my hand which never happened. I had a root canal treatment with Dr. Sanjay, assisted by Firdous, and the experience was excellent. Both of them were very nice and friendly throughout the appointment. They took the time to clearly explain each step of the procedure and made sure I understood everything before continuing. I was quite nervous beforehand, but their calm and reassuring approach really helped me feel more comfortable and relaxed. They were very patient and attentive, which made the whole experience much easier than I expected.Posted on Andreea Ceaiu14/03/2026
